Cockburn Laurence Calvert Academy is part of a Multi-academy Trust.

The Governing Body will act as the Admissions Authority for the school as part of the coordinated scheme with Leeds City Council Children’s Services.  Cockburn Laurence Calvert will be a high quality fully inclusive inner city 11-16 Secondary school, with a maximum capacity of 1050 students.

The school will replicate the successes of the other Secondary schools within the Cockburn Multi-academy Trust and provide the young people of south Leeds the excellent education that will increase their life chances and create opportunities within and beyond the curriculum to enable each student to develop their potential so that they become confident, independent and successful citizens. We seek to widen their aspirations to reach destinations that are attainable and fulfilling. We work to raise attainment and the quality of teaching and learning for all our pupils through high expectations of academic success and behaviour.

There will be 210 places available for Year 7 in September 2022.
