Uniform & Equipment

Students at Cockburn Laurence Calvert are expected to achieve standards of excellence in all areas of academy life including appearance.

A well-worn uniform not only demonstrates our core Expectation of Pride that all our students have in being part of the academy, but also it supports excellent behaviour and discipline. Correct uniform must be worn at all times as well as to and from the academy. 

It is important that parents/carers and students review our Uniform Guide.  The guide will provide details of our uniform and how to purchase items of uniform, PE kit and equipment. 

All students are expected to always maintain a high standard of personal appearance both in the academy, as well as to and from the academy.

We would like to politely remind parents/carers that we only allow students to wear branded uniform bought from the academy which we know to be of high quality and durable.  We will not allow students into the academy wearing uniform bought from alternative suppliers where the colour and logo are not in line with our uniform and which is liable to fade through washing and may damage easily.

All uniform and kit is 'all year round' and there is no seasonal uniform.

Should you find yourself in financial difficulty in relation to the purchasing of school uniform please contact the main academy office.

Please note that the uniform and PE kit will be available to purchase through the Online Shop. Uniform can only be collected when a time slot has been agreed by the academy.

The Required Learning Equipment that students will need on a daily basis for use in the classrooms and learning spaces in the academy is detailed below. Students should keep their learning equipment in a pencil case.
