Last week, Y8 students watched George Orwell's Animal Farm at Leeds Playhouse as part of the English Curriculum. The play Animal Farm explores loss of identity, the allure of greed, and the corrupting nature of political power. Its a story of treachery and rebellion and the true meaning of equality. Y8 really enjoyed the performance.

Y7 Progress Review Tuesday 25th March 2025. This is an important opportunity for parents/carers to meet with Subject Teachers to discuss your child's progress to date. Appointment slots from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. As a reminder Progress Review Dates for this academic year are available on the website.

CLCA's Y8 and 9 singers joined Cockburn School and Cockburn John Charles in a vocal workshop with singer Craig Lees on Friday in preparation for their big performance at the Leeds Arena later this year. Students had a brilliant time and sang amazingly! 🎤🎼🎹

CLCA students were asked about a Woman or Women that Inspire them on International Women's Day. SO many students spoke about their mums, aunties, grandmas, nanas, sisters, female family friends who love and support them. It was so lovely to hear students talk about their admiration for their families and friends.
